Acousticom’s H10-76 Conversion Kit Plus converts your military headset to be used as an aviation headset. By replacing the microphone and earphones in your David Clark H10-76 you convert your low impedance headset into the aviation standard impedance. Included in this kit is the adaptor cable that converts the single military/helicopter plug into a dual plug headset. If you do not need this cable, you have the option to not include this in your order and save $30. This kit is easy to install into your H10-76 Headset with a small screwdriver similar to ones you would find in an eyeglasses kit. |

Acousticom also offers a partial conversion which only changes the microphone impedance in the H10-76 headset. This conversion will only function properly if the user is flying alone with no other headsets communicating on the intercom. Due to the earphone impedance difference, multiple headsets on an intercom with high and low impedance ranges will significantly lower the overall volume heard through the converted headset. If you do not need the cable adaptor you can purchase the M-7/DC style microphone separately. We do not recommend this kit, as we suggest to always convert your headset to the proper aviation impedance standard. |
