The M-100/AIC Military Microphone is a bracket with a M-101/AIC Dynamic Microphone.A moving voice coil microphone mainly designed for use in positive pressure type oxygen mask or pressure type helmets and gas masks. The microphone has application for certain types of ground crew headsets and specific types of low altitude headsets.

The M-101/AIC style dynamic microphone is designed and manufactured of the same high quality materials and methods found in other styles of Acousticom Corporation microphones. It is also intended to provide audio communication in high noise environments as described in MIL-PRF-26542E.

Weight: a maximum of 16 grams (without MT-2189/AIC bracket)
Frequency response: 200Hz to 6000Hz
Sensitivity at ground level: 36.90dB to 42.92dB (re 1uv)
Sensitivity at a simulated altitude: equal to but not more than 8dB of the ground level sensitivity when tested at 25,000ft.
Vibration resistance: method 201 of MIL-STD-202
Bounce resistance: Procedure III of MIL-STD-810
